Rep. Monica De La Cruz, serving in the U.S. Congress for Texas’ 15th district since replacing Vicente Gonzalez in 2023, has recently shared updates on her engagements via social media.
On April 16, 2025, De La Cruz remarked on a meeting her staff attended with Dr. Fernando Diaz of Texas Oncology in McAllen, along with members of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Monica De La Cruz, who was born in Brownsville, Texas in 1974, now resides in McAllen. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree.
