Former Hallettsville High School standout and current Texas A&M Aggies player, Layne Gerke will compete in the NCAA Division I FBS Football Championship.

They begin the tournament as a number seven seed against the 10th seeded Miami Hurricanes.

The first game is on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 11 a.m.
