On April 1, 2025, De La Cruz highlighted the enduring legacy of the United States Air Force, stating, “Since 1954, the @usairforce has defended our nation from the skies…” She praised the Air Force Academy as a “symbol of leadership, innovation, and excellence.”

Later the same day, De La Cruz focused on economic development within her district, attending a significant event in McAllen, Texas. She reported, “My TX-15 team was proud to join city officials in @CityofMcAllen for the groundbreaking of the new CAP Retail Development…” noting the growth in sales tax revenue and the positive economic momentum in the region.

On April 2, 2025, De La Cruz participated in the unveiling of a new statue at Texas A&M-Kingsville, a tribute reflecting the region’s commitment to higher education. She expressed, “It was an honor to have my TX-15 team join public servants from Jim Wells County and Premont for the unveiling of Texas A&M-Kingsville’s new javelina statue…” affirming her support for educational endeavors.
