U.S. Representative Monica De La Cruz, who serves Texas’ 15th district in Congress, shared updates on her recent meetings and community engagements through a series of posts on social media.

On September 3, 2025, De La Cruz posted about her visit to a dialysis facility in Seguin: “In Seguin, I met with patients and healthcare providers at the @DaVita Kidney Care Dialysis Facility. We had a great discussion on the team’s work to provide exceptional care and expand access to both at-home and in-person care for Texans.”

The following day, she highlighted her meeting with local officials focused on regional priorities: “Great to meet with the Hidalgo County Prosperity Task Force, led by Judge Richard Cortez, to discuss the priorities of South Texas communities, including expanding access to affordable housing, fighting food insecurity, and securing federal funding for key community projects.” This post was published on September 4, 2025.

Later that same day, De La Cruz expressed appreciation for efforts supporting water resource delivery in Texas: “Thank you, @SecRubio, for your work to help deliver the water resources Texans need.”

De La Cruz began representing Texas’ 15th congressional district after replacing Vicente Gonzalez in 2023. She secured her seat by defeating Michelle Vallejo in consecutive general elections—first in 2022 with 53.3% of the vote and again in 2024 with an increased margin of 57.1%.
