Monica De La Cruz was born in Brownsville, Texas in 1974 and currently resides in McAllen. She has been representing Texas’s 15th District since replacing Vicente Gonzalez in 2023 after earning a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
