The Disabled Veterans Housing Support Act was celebrated by De La Cruz for ensuring that service-connected disability compensation is excluded from income calculations for housing assistance.

The Disabled Veterans Housing Support Act was designed to enhance housing accessibility by excluding VA disability compensation from certain HUD program eligibility calculations.
