Rep. Monica De La Cruz, U.S. Congresswoman representing Texas’ 15th district, shared updates on legislative efforts and policy initiatives through a series of posts on her official social media account in December 2025.
On December 10, De La Cruz announced her support for the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026, stating: “Proud to support House passage of the FY26 NDAA!
Today, we voted to ensure the U.S. military remains the strongest in the world, invest in our national and border security, and deliver a much-needed pay raise for our troops. @HouseGOP is implementing President Trump’s”.
The following day, she highlighted her collaboration with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to address agricultural concerns in Texas: “Alongside @USDA, I have been leading the charge to combat the spread of New World Screwworm and protect Texas livestock.

Later that same day, De La Cruz discussed legislative reforms related to environmental regulation: “The PERMIT Act makes commonsense reforms to the Clean Water Act to provide certainty for Texas builders, energy producers, farmers, and communities.
We’re cutting red tape and overregulation to increase efficiency and transparency, while protecting water quality for our” (December 11).
De La Cruz has represented Texas’ 15th congressional district since replacing Vicente Gonzalez in 2023. She secured her seat by defeating Michelle Vallejo in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections.
