Rep. Monica De La Cruz, who represents Texas’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted her ongoing support for local businesses, education, and rural healthcare in a series of posts on her official social media account.

On August 10, 2025, De La Cruz posted about honoring a local business: “Celebrating small businesses is one of the best parts of serving as Congresswoman for South Texas. That’s why our team was proud to honor All Valley Tire for five years of success serving Mission and the surrounding communities.”

The following day, she extended well wishes to those beginning a new academic year: “Wishing all students, parents, and teachers the best of luck as we enter another new school year!” This message was posted on August 11, 2025.

De La Cruz also addressed rural healthcare initiatives in an August 13 post: “The OBBB invests in sustainability to ensure rural healthcare facilities can support Americans for years to come.”

De La Cruz began representing Texas’ 15th district after replacing Vicente Gonzalez in 2023. She secured her seat by defeating Michelle Vallejo in both the 2022 and 2024 general elections. In the most recent contest, she won with approximately 57 percent of the vote.
