On April 15, De La Cruz reminded constituents of the tax filing deadline and outlined several tax policy changes: “Taxes are due today! Don’t forget we secured: – No tax on tips – No tax on overtime – No tax on seniors benefits”.

The following day, April 16, she commemorated the birthday of Selena Quintanilla, noting the singer’s cultural impact: “Happy Birthday to the legendary Selena Quintanilla!
