Rep. Ryan Guillen, a Republican who has represented Texas House District 31 since 2003, posted a series of updates on his social media accounts this week regarding legislative activities, election reminders, and his upcoming plans for re-election.
On November 3, 2025, Guillen shared details about his participation in a State Affairs Committee hearing in Austin. In the post, he stated: “Back in Austin today for the State Affairs Committee hearing, where we discussed ways to improve wildfire preparedness and response, and heard updates on the Broadband Development Office’s work to expand internet access across Texas. #txlege https://t.co/ANQC93f7RD”.
The following day, November 4, 2025, Guillen used his platform to encourage voter participation in the constitutional amendment election. He wrote: “Today is the last day to vote! On November 5, 2025, Guillen announced his intention to seek another term as representative for House District 31. He said: “Next week, I will file for re-election for Texas House District 31. Guillen has served as a member of the Texas State House since first being elected in 2003 to represent District 31 after succeeding Judy Hawley.
