Rep. Ryan Guillen, a Republican who has represented Texas’s 31st House district since 2003, recently shared several updates and commemorations on his social media account.
On September 17, 2025, Guillen marked Constitution Day by stating, “Today, we celebrate the signing of the document that laid the foundation for our nation’s laws and principles. The Constitution remains a guiding force, ensuring liberty and justice for all Americans. Let’s continue to stand firm in our commitment to freedom and liberty. #txlege https://t.co/8EYXX4p48p”.
The following day, September 18, 2025, he posted about engaging with local organizations: “Had the chance to share a legislative update with the La Salle County Farm Bureau and was surprised by the Fair Association with the Wild Hog Trophy. La Salle’s rich tradition of ranching, hunting, and South Texas spirit is something worth celebrating. #txlege #89th #onthemove https://t.co/kA3DRD9lJo”.
Also on September 18, Guillen recognized an important military anniversary: “Marking the anniversary of the U.S. Air Force today. Grateful for the dedication of those who have served and continue to serve with honor, strength, and integrity. #txlege https://t.co/6xUORjQKkC”.
Guillen has been serving in the Texas State House since his election in 2003 after succeeding Judy Hawley as representative for District 31.
