How many students were enrolled in Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley in 2021-22 school year?

There were 485 students enrolled in Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley in the 2021-22 school year, 2.6% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.7% of them were girls, and 49.3% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 98.6% of the Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley total enrollment.

Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley roughly covers schools within Hidalgo County with its main office in Mcallen.

Among the four schools in Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley, Triumph Public High Schools-San Benito recorded the highest enrollment of 137 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
