Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley District Education: 501 Hispanic students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 501 Hispanic students enrolled in Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley District in the 2022-23 school year, 4.8% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley District welcomed 506 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 99% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley District roughly covers schools within Hidalgo County and has a main office in McAllen.

Among the four schools in Triumph Public High Schools-Rio Grande Valley District, Triumph Public High Schools-McAllen recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 138 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
