Rep. Monica De La Cruz, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 15th district, has been active on social media sharing updates and events. Born in Brownsville, Texas, in 1974, she resides in McAllen and has been a member of Congress since 2023.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. De La Cruz expressed her appreciation for Dr. Carlos Manrique's presence at the Joint Address by President Biden. She remarked that "POTUS's address instilled confidence in his bold vision to restore American greatness."

Later that day, she informed her constituents about mobile office hours being held by her team in Jim Wells and Karnes Counties. She encouraged those needing assistance with federal agencies to attend these events or contact her offices at provided phone numbers. In celebration of Texas History Month, Rep. De La Cruz shared a message highlighting the state's historical significance. This month, we honor the rich and diverse history of the Lone Star State from its independence to today."
