Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD issued the following announcement.
PSJA Family, as we continue to plan for the 2020-2021 school year, we ask that you identify the option that best fits your needs and desires. Please know, we will prioritize your selection, but be aware updates to these options might be made if necessary, based on health official and state recommendations.
Whether your family chooses to join us physically or virtually, our mission of educating our students continues as we transition to this new frontier in public education, and the health and safety of our students, teachers and staff remain our top priority.

You may select one of the following options per child enrolled in the district:

Option 1: In-Person Instructional Model - Learning occurs in the classroom, face-to-face, with teacher and students on campus.
Opción 1: Modelo de Enseñanza En Persona - Será en persona en un salón de clase tradicional, con maestros y alumnos en la escuela.
Option 2: Hybrid Instructional Model - Learning happens with a combination of face-to-face instruction and virtual learning.
Opción 2: Modelo de Enseñanza Híbrido - el aprendizaje se llevará a cabo combinando instrucción en persona y virtualmente desde casa.
Option 3: Virtual Learning Instructional Model - 100% daily on-line at-home learning.
Opción 3: Modelo de Enseñanza Virtual - será 100% virtual desde su casa.
*Please note, some extracurricular activities or coursework that utilizes specialized equipment might require for Option 1 or 2 to be selected.
*Nota importante, algunas actividades extracurriculares o clases que utilizan equipo especializado requerirán que la opción 1 o 2 sea seleccionada.
