Monica De La Cruz, a U.S. Congress representative for Texas' 15th district since 2023, recently shared updates on her activities via social media. Born in Brownsville, Texas, in 1974 and currently residing in McAllen, De La Cruz holds a BBS from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

On March 4, 2025, Rep. Monica De La Cruz tweeted about her participation in an event celebrating Women's History Month. She stated: "I enjoyed joining the Bipartisan Women's Caucus, Wonder Woman actress and advocate @reallyndacarter, and @smithsonian to celebrate the start of Women's History Month! It's an honor to work alongside this incredible group of bipartisan female leaders to advance policies that…"

Later that day, she informed her followers about the upcoming State of the Union Address by President Trump. Her tweet read: "TODAY: 2025 State of the Union Address Tune in tonight, March 4th, at 8 pm CT, to witness President Trump’s address to Congress."

Additionally, De La Cruz announced the opening of a lottery for attending the White House Easter Egg Roll scheduled for April 21st. She wrote: "The lottery is now open! Join President Trump and First Lady on April 21st for the 2025 White House Easter Egg Roll! Tickets are limited and distributed via a lottery system. The lottery closes on March 10th."
