Monica De La Cruz discusses Texas agricultural water needs and community engagement

Rep. Monica De La Cruz, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 15th district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various issues and events. Elected to her position in 2023, De La Cruz has been active in engaging with her constituents and local leaders.

On March 21, 2025, Rep. De La Cruz expressed gratitude towards Secretary Rollins for tackling an important matter regarding water rights for Texas agriculture. She emphasized the urgency of obtaining the necessary resources with her tweet: "Thank you @SecRollins for addressing this critical issue. It’s time to get Texas Ag the water we are owed!"

Later that day, on March 21, she acknowledged a visit from City of Mission Councilwoman Marissa Ortega Gerlach at her office. Highlighting the importance of collaboration with local officials, she tweeted: "Thank you to @CityOfMissionTX Councilwoman Marissa Ortega Gerlach for visiting the office. It's always a pleasure to visit with local leaders from across TX-15 and work together for our constituents."

In preparation for an upcoming event, Rep. De La Cruz announced on March 24 that she would be hosting a telephone town hall meeting on Monday, March 24th.
