Rep. Monica De La Cruz, the current representative for Texas’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently communicated with her constituents through a series of tweets highlighting different initiatives and events. Since assuming office in 2023, De La Cruz has been active in addressing local and national issues from her position in Washington.

On March 31, 2025, Rep. De La Cruz recognized National Farm Workers Day by highlighting the contributions of Texas farmers. "Today, on National Farm Workers Day, we honor the hard work and dedication of our Texas farmers. From passing a strong Farm Bill to delivering the water Texans are owed, I am committed to finding solutions for our farmers so they can continue to feed our nation. Thank you," she stated in a tweet, underscoring her commitment to legislative efforts that support farming communities.

In a follow-up tweet on April 1, 2025, De La Cruz's district team participated in an event organized by the Pharr Greater Chamber of Commerce PAL Ambassadors. She noted, "My district team had the honor of presenting to the Pharr Greater Chamber of Commerce PAL Ambassadors. They shared how our District Office serves the community and highlighted the work I’m doing in Washington to pass meaningful legislation and fight for the priorities of," emphasizing her engagement with local businesses and leadership in legislative matters.

Later, on the same day, De La Cruz announced the opening of submissions for the Congressional Art Competition in a tweet, "Submissions are now open! Enter the Congressional Art Competition for a chance to have your art displayed in the Capitol for one year. April 18th is the last day to submit. Guidelines and submission instructions are below," encouraging participation from aspiring artists within her district.
