Rep. Monica De La Cruz discusses key issues from town halls to art competitions

Rep. Monica De La Cruz, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas' 15th district, recently shared several updates on her official social media account. De La Cruz, who replaced former Congressman Vicente Gonzalez in 2023, communicated about a range of topics including a town hall meeting, a regional water crisis, and an art competition.

On March 24, 2025, Rep. De La Cruz announced that she would be hosting a telephone town hall later that evening. The following day on March 25, Rep. De La Cruz addressed the pressing issue of South Texas' water crisis via social media. Later on March 25, Rep. De La Cruz invited young artists to participate in the Congressional Art Competition by submitting their artwork for potential display at the Capitol for one year.
