The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Edinburg conferred 450 bachelor's degrees and 307 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general psychology. Data shows the school gave out 408 bachelor's degrees in general psychology, followed by 399 bachelor's degrees in general biology/biological sciences and 361 bachelor's degrees in criminal justice/law enforcement administration.
The university enrolled 28,644 students for 2017-18, including 24,678 in undergraduate programs and 3,966 in graduate programs.
