CITY OF MISSOURI: It’s Just Not Thanksgiving Without Stuffing

Holiday

City of Missouri issued the following announcement.

MCTX Police and Fire Departments welcomed donors and volunteers for their 12th Annual Operation Thanksgiving “Stuff the Squad Car and Fire Truck” food drive, held Saturday at the Public Safety complex on Cartwright Road.

Community volunteers including students, the Boy Scouts and members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., joined police and fire personnel to fill 12 squad cars and one (1) fire engine with thousands of donated non-perishable and canned food items.

Organizers rated this year’s event as one of the largest in recent memory. The generous donations from residents and community partners were given to Bethel Ministries and the Fort Bend Women’s Shelter, who will distribute the food to those in need this holiday season.
