Of the 2,338 people living in West Sharyland in 2019, 53.2 percent (1,243) were women and 46.8 percent (1,095) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West RGV News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 765-to-747. In the 65 and over age range, there were 243 females and 82 males.
