Rep. Monica De La Cruz, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 15th district, shared several updates through her social media platform on December 11 and 12, 2024. These posts highlighted significant events and milestones related to her legislative work and community engagements.

On December 11, Rep. De La Cruz celebrated the signing into law of the Working Dog Commemorative Coin Act with her staff joining "@AmericasVetDogs handlers, volunteers, owners, and service dogs". She expressed pride as a co-sponsor of the act and noted that it was beneficial for her staff to learn more about the services provided by working dogs to society.

On December 12, she extended birthday wishes to Clemencia Esteviz from Alamo on reaching an impressive milestone of "100th Birthday". Rep. De La Cruz praised Esteviz's nurturing spirit and devotion to friends, family, work, and community presence as inspiring.

Later that day, Rep. De La Cruz congratulated "the new chairman of @financialcmte", Rep. French Hill. She acknowledged his expertise in banking as an invaluable asset to the committee and expressed anticipation for continued collaboration aimed at reducing financial overregulation while empowering individuals and small businesses with necessary financial tools.
