On March 12, 2025, De La Cruz expressed her appreciation for a meeting with two local bankers from the Rio Grande Valley (RGV). She met with South Texas Credit Union CEO Gerardo Paz and CFEO Francisco Rangel to discuss the banking needs of RGV residents. In her post, she stated, "It was an honor to meet with two local bankers from the RGV recently, South Texas Credit Union CEO Gerardo Paz and CFEO Francisco Rangel. On March 13, 2025, she shared another post highlighting her office's role in assisting Miranda Jimenez with obtaining a passport. The process took five years to complete. De La Cruz remarked on this accomplishment by saying, "Miranda Jimenez recently stopped by our McAllen office to show our staff her new passport. It was a five-year process that we were happy to help with and get over the finish line."

Also on March 13, De La Cruz commemorated National K9 Veteran Day through a tweet recognizing the contributions of K9s in law enforcement and border patrol. She wrote, "Today, we honor National K9 Veteran Day to recognize the hardworking K9s that support law enforcement and border patrol.
