City of Edinburg issued the following announcement.
Edinburg City offices and the Edinburg Regional Sanitary Landfill Office will be closed in observance of the Christmas Holiday on Thursday, December 24, 2020 and Friday, December 25, 2020.
The Holiday garbage collection schedule will be as follows:
RESIDENTIAL:
Residential collection schedules do NOT change due to holidays.
COMMERCIAL:
Commercial collection schedules do NOT change due to holidays
EDINBURG RECYCLING CENTER:
The Edinburg Recycling Center will be CLOSED to the public Friday, December 25, 2020 but will resume business on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
EDINBURG SANITARY LANDFILL:
The Edinburg Sanitary Landfill will be CLOSED to the public on Friday, December 25, 2020 but will resume business on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
BRUSH:
Brush collection for Area 1 will be provided Monday-Friday, the week of December 21.
