Monica De La Cruz, who began her term in Congress in 2023 after taking over from Vicente Gonzalez, has an educational background from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Born in 1974 in Brownsville, Texas, the 48-year-old congresswoman currently resides in McAllen, Texas.
