Her tweets covered a range of topics, from community engagement to arts and legislative discussions.On April 15th, De La Cruz highlighted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Texas National Bank’s new location in Edinburg. She mentioned,

"At the ribbon cutting ceremony for Texas National Bank’s new Edinburg location, staff from my office spoke with President Joe Quiroga, who shared insights on the bank’s continued growth and expansion. It’s exciting to see local institutions investing in South Texas and creating." This event underscores local economic development and support for regional institutions.The same day, De La Cruz urged participation in a national art initiative. She announced,

"Submissions close this Friday! Enter the Congressional Art Competition for a chance to have your art displayed in the Capitol for one year. Guidelines and submission instructions are below." This initiative offers young artists an opportunity to showcase their talent nationally.Later, De La Cruz met with Morgan LaMantia from L&F Distributors in Washington, as she noted,

Monica De La Cruz has served in the U.S. Congress, representing Texas' 15th district, since 2023. She replaced previous U.S Congress member Vicente Gonzalez in 2023. Additionally, De La Cruz, 48, was born in Brownsville, Texas in 1974, and she currently resides in McAllen. She graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Business Studies degree.
