City of Mission issued the following announcement on March 17.
Several events being held in the City of Mission have been either postponed or canceled for precautionary purposes as a result of the COVID-19 situation.
We take the safety of visitors and employees extremely serious and will continue to evaluate the situation to make additional adjustments as necessary.
The following events have either been postponed or canceled:
March 19- McDonald’s Play Van at Speer Memorial Library (Postponed)
March 21- Movie on the Lawn at Mission Historical Museum (Canceled)
March 28- Mission Crime Stoppers Bowling Tournament (Postponed)
March 28- RGV Low Sensory Jam at Mission EDC (Postponed)
March- Open Gym for Basketball at Boys & Girls Club of Mission (Postponed)
March- Pony Baseball/Softball League at Boys & Girls Club of Mission (Postponed)
April 4- Mission Art Festival (Postponed)
April 18- City of Mission Annual Round Up (Postponed)
