Rep. Monica De La Cruz, a U.S. Congress member representing Texas' 15th district since 2023, has shared her views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. Her comments touch upon immigration policies, leadership within federal agencies, and judicial reforms.

On November 21, 2024, Rep. De La Cruz expressed her anticipation of collaborating with the forthcoming administration to address border policies. She emphasized the impact of these policies on local resources in South Texas communities, stating: "I look forward to working with the upcoming administration to put an end to the ridiculous open border policies. South Texas communities witness firsthand the pressure and strain on local resources caused by illegal crossings. It is time to put America first."

The following day, November 22, 2024, she criticized FDIC Chairman Gruenberg for his tenure at the agency. She highlighted concerns about workplace culture and misconduct under his leadership: "For the past 12 years, FDIC Chairman Gruenberg has failed to prevent the agency's growing toxic culture and misconduct. There are no more excuses for this deeply ingrained negative workplace. It is time for his immediate resignation."

On November 23, 2024, Rep. De La Cruz met with U.S District Judge Randy Crane to discuss legislative measures aimed at improving judicial efficiency across the country. She stated: "It was a pleasure meeting with US District Judge Randy Crane. We discussed the importance of the JUDGES Act, which would help with the growing caseload and ensure Americans always have timely access to justice and assistance by adding additional judges across the country."
